Omega Speedmaster Snoopy Silver
This Omega Speedmaster is a must have in any collection, be it of watches, NASA, or snoopy memorabilia. Launched to mark the 45th of anniversary of the 1970’s Apollo 13 space mission, and the role their Omega Speedmasters played in their safe return to earth! It has a 42mm steel case, crown, pusher and bezel retention ring with a black ceramic tachymeter insert. Fitted on a black coated nylon fabric strap with a steel deployment clasp. It has a crisp white dial and chronograph sub-dials, and a Super-LumiNova Snoopy can be found in the 9 o’clock sub-dial. “Failure is not an option” has been transferred on the dial, as well as the phrase “What could you do in 14 seconds?” with 14 squares that represent the Snoopy comics. It’s case back is a 925 Silver Snoopy medallion with dark blue enamel. Powered by a hand-winding mechanical movement. Sold with a special edition Omega box, original warranty card, pictogram card, limited edition, instruction manuals, promotional materials, and pin badge, as well the original purchase receipt. First sold in the UK in March 2016. Limited edition number 1125 of 1970. This watch has been sparingly worn and is in unpolished condition.
